WebPhenergan is an antihistamine used to treat patients with allergic rhinitis, nausea and vomiting. It is also used to treat motion sickness. This medication may also be used as a sleeping aid. Phenergan lowers the level of histamine in the body. It is indicated for use by patients 2 years and older. This medication is available as an injection. WebPhenergan Tablets and Suppositories are contraindicated for use in pediatric patients less than two years of age. Phenergan Tablets and Suppositories are contraindicated in comatose states, and in individuals known to be hypersensitive or to have had an idiosyncratic reaction to promethazine or to other phenothiazines.
