This tower was meant to reach the heavens, and it caused God to scatter the people across the earth. This story is often interpreted as a tale of man’s rebellion against God. But what is the true meaning of this story? WebbThe Tower of Babel was built by the descendants of Noah to prevent the people from scattering. This was done in defiance of God's commandment.
