WebMaffeo Vegio (Lodi, 1407-Rome, 1458) is the author of some fifty works of prose and poetry, of which four short epics are edited and translated here: the Supplement , or Book XIII of the Aeneid (1428), Astyanax (1430), four books on the Golden Fleece (1421), WebMaffeo Vegio (en latin Maphaeus Vegius) (né en 1406 ou en 1407 [1] à Lodi et mort à Rome en 1458) est un écrivain humaniste italien du XV e siècle qui écrit en latin. Il est l’auteur de poèmes épiques, de textes religieux, d’un traité d’éducation, ainsi que d’une continuation de l’ Énéide de Virgile.
